Individual Therapy

Lying in bed at night with thoughts racing through your head…

You hate feeling so lonely and wonder when things will get better.

Everyone is so busy, rushing from one commitment to the next. No one in your life is taking the time to slow down and hear you.

Pressure is coming from all directions. You’re spending more and more time feeling overwhelmed.

When you do find a moment to slow down, you feel lost… untethered… unsure of what to do next.

Where do you go from here?

It’s been so long since you have had clarity about what to do next. You feel desperate for direction.

You just want to make sense of your mental health. Why didn’t they teach this stuff in school?

Our culture is a breeding ground for isolation.

There is so much focus on productivity and so little focus on relationships and mental health.

You never had the chance to learn how to navigate challenging relationships or fluctuating mental states.

And the more time you spend trying to outrun this loneliness, the more isolated you become.

You don’t have to go through life feeling like this.

We can connect in my office. You will be seen and heard.

As we sit together, we’ll explore your story.

What is the history behind your discontentment?

Where did it come from?

How did it grow?

What needs must be met for you to feel better?

How can you and those around you meet these needs?

As we answer these questions, you’ll be able to examine thoughts and feelings you’ve never considered before, and those insights will give us direction on how to fix the problem.

We will dive deep into your internal world to figure out what to change and how to change it!

There will be time and space to explore.

Therapy is a conversation – a deep and meaningful conversation that you’re probably never going to find with anyone else.

Judgment can be paralyzing (after all, it’s better to stay frozen than risk being judged and found wanting!). That’s why my ability to remain judgment-free in the face of anything you have to tell me will be one of the biggest factors in your healing.

As you explore your inner world and receive nonjudgmental feedback, you will notice a difference in your body. You’ll experience comfort and relaxation that you haven’t felt before.

When you’re alone, you might find yourself on occasion judging your thoughts when, suddenly, you’ll remember my voice and demeanor. You’ll then remember what it is like to be accepted and allowed to be.

This will make it easier for you to be kind to yourself. As you accept yourself, it will be easier to evaluate what you want to change.

Don’t lie awake at night wondering what comes next.

Let me show you how to make the changes you desire!
